Pan seared Ahi Tuna with Ginger Aioli

Prep Time: 40 Minutes

Cook Time: 5 Minutes


1 lb Tuna steaks

Cooking spray (I prefer avocado oil spray)

Marinade:

1/4 Cup soy sauce

Juice of 1 lime

1 Tbsp minced garlic

1 Tbsp minced ginger

Salt & Pepper

Aioli:

1/4 Cup mayonnaise

Juice of 1/2 lemon

1 Tbsp minced ginger

1 Tsp dried parsley

Salt & Pepper


Combine marinade ingredients in a large ziplock bag. Add tuna steaks and let it marinade for at least 30 minutes on the counter.

Combine aioli ingredients and sit aside.

Heat a non stick skillet on high. Spray with cooking spray. Cook tuna steaks for 2 minutes on each side. Tuna is done at 145 if you like it slightly pink still. 165 for well done.


Serve with aioli and a side of steamed veggies.
