Cook time: 4 hours
Serves 2. Recipe can be doubled, tripled, etc.
1-2 lb country pork ribs, boneless is best (you could also use a small pork shoulder or loin)
20 oz Dr. Pepper
2 Tablespoon of carnitas seasoning or make your own with the following:
1 Tsp Onion powder
1 Tsp Garlic powder
1 Tsp Cumin
1 Tsp Ground coriander
1 Tsp Paprika
1 Tsp black pepper
1/2 Tsp salt
Flour or corn tortillas (I prefer street taco size)
Taco toppings of your choice, mine are:
White onion, diced
Cilantro
Lime juice
Cotija cheese
Salsa verde
Avocado or guacamole
Place pork country ribs in slow cooker, add seasoning, then add Dr. Pepper (Careful not to wash off the seasoning) until the ribs are almost covered. Cook on high for 4 hours, then drain.
Pork will fall apart!!
